These classes are for true beginners to yoga, or for those who have not had a class for a long time, or for anyone with a curiosity about the language and props used in Iyengar Yoga wanting a thorough foundation. This will be a systematic, progressive, 8 week long introduction to Hatha Yoga in the Iyengar tradition. Note: Sometimes private yoga classes are recommended. Speak with your teacher if interested.
Preregistration is REQUIRED for Beginners Series, and no drop-in students are allowed. You may preregister by mailing a check made out to Austin Yoga to us at 1122C South Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78704, indicating which class you wish to join or by calling your teacher - Peggy Kelley 923-4643, Patti Gagne 415-0743, Seva Herold 707-2565. If the first class is less than a week away, or if you have missed the first class, make payment and attendance arrangements by calling your teacher.
